It proved popular enough with viewers that it inspired a sequel, Cold Enough For Snow a year later (which I sadly do not have) This is notable not only for being Alec Guinness' final screen role, but also for featuring Laura Howard just a year before she would find fame as Cully Barnaby in Midsomer Murders.
